The NFL already does that it seems, just like college football. The same 10 or so teams make the Super Bowl every year (49ers, Steelers, Packers, Patriots, Cowboys, Broncos, Giants, Raiders, Colts, Rams, Seahawks) and those teams have a combined 63 Super Bowl appearances out 100 (63/100), let alone how dominant they are in conference championship game appearances and how that number goes even higher when you throw in franchises that haven't been so good in decades (Vikings, Dolphins, Bills)...then the number goes from 63 to 76/100...among 14 franchises. The first eleven are gonna keep moving forward this year, so we can already write in 65/102 and 78/102.

I believe that had more to do with dumb decisions not just on-field, specially in the AFC. Look at the Browns, I can't remember the last time they did something right. And right now, AFC has the Patriots and the rest; New England has a free road to the playoffs until 2030 playing in that division.

More like Enron, a loser organization.

Might try this idea: look at the last 16 Super Bowls. In a "perfect" world, all 16 of NFC and AFC teams would've made it once.

How many have made it from the AFC?
How many have made it from the NFC?

You'll see a difference. Especially if Atlanta makes it this year, as they haven't been to the SB in some time. On the AFC? Pats or Steelers ........ yet again.
