Wish I could be there today but I can't make the day games. Big game - we need to take advantage of the easier schedule after a difficult 4-game stretch to begin things in conference play.

UNT is better than their conference (and overall) record indicates. They had some mid-term transfers who are immediate starters/contributors for them. Although one of them (Keith Frazier from SMU) has missed the past few games after being in a minor car accident. He's fine now and should play today.

Even with those guys playing, we should definitely be favored at home.

IMO, a must win game to regain confidence-- both for the team and the fan base.

For what it's worth.. we're back up in the top four ranked CUSA teams in the KenPom ranking. We absolutely have the power to make this midseason run. And you're absolutely right that it must start today.

realtime RPI has us losing at Louisiana Tech on Thursday but then going on a 10-game win streak before dropping the final two conference games on the road at Marshall and Western Kentucky.

KenPom projects us with a 9-4 finish (but only has us underdogs in two: @LaTech and @Marshall)
9-4 would get us to 11-7 and T-5 one game out of the top four.

We need 12 wins somewhere/somehow and @LaTech would be good place for us to really make a STATEMENT against a true top 100 team. KenPom gives us 30% and -6 points.
