RE: Thoughts on Torrance Gibson?
It was very clear that it was NOT legal issues that he has, it was solely student "conduct" issues, so please remove the "illegal" reference to anything he did, simply put it is not true.. Having been around the recruiting world and knowing many people both in p5 conferences, and specifically top 10 football programs, and having been around some of those programs myself over the years.. having a tutor that is attractive and players hit on/date is NOT uncommon.. The athletic department at most D1 programs are very aware at some of the perceptions kids have when they are showing them around campus, or helping them get by during study table hours.
There are many schools(see louisville), who are closer to having escorts on staff, than just a college Sylvan Learning Center...
I am not saying that is the case at OSU, or UC etc.. buttt as we have seen in the past.. there are people who are associated with athletic departments who find no issue with keeping recruits/students "on task" by any means necessary..
I do not think this is the case here.. but I do know having attractive and young student tutors/ambassadors is something athletic departments have been doing for years, and if two consenting adults agree to it, then legally there is not normally a boundary that is crosses... I am just stating if this is so looked down upon/against codes that are being enforced, most universities would have players leaving..

Well said. None of this is a big deal at all IMO. There absolutely was nothing illegal about it. The tutor may have tried to make some accusations after the initial embarrassment but from what I understand there were enough people who knew about the relationship prior to that she never had any ground to stand on and it went away. It was a code of conduct issue and nothing more. Things like this literally happen all the time. There is a reason Urban wanted him re-instated.

This is a big deal...for UC. OSU can keep their codes if it means we get more 4/5* transfers.
