Probably the most interesting rejection was Houston, who did receive votes in the AP poll. The significance is not whether they deserved to receive votes or not but the fact that committee member Tom Herman (Houston) also rejected them. One may think that the team you coached all year, who overall had a good year and received AP votes might sneak a sentimental vote from Herman.

This might be a good indication of who the man is, a self-absorbed, unappreciative failed coach who faked the love of his players with fake kisses.
