Holy crap that was stressful.

NU about to lose to Towson. Down 5 with :17 left and Towson shooting 2 at the FT line.

6-0 in the CAA though!

Someone said a week or so ago that UNCW had been untested. Blowing out WM and then gutting out a win like this proves we are who everyone knows we are.

Keep it going Seahawks. Listened to Mike the whole game cuz the feed sucks and it was nice to hear how loud the fans were for this one.

Escaped. That's all you can say! We let a Hofstra team that's not very good hang around in our house. Always worry about a team following up a near perfect performance on Thursday (see NC State last week), but hey, 6-0. Phew

Most of this game was played Hofstras styles and the refs called it tight which also favored hofstra including st Gustys getting every close call and some not so close

Yet we still won

Next 2 games are on traditional TV

This game was going to be close when Cacok got two fouls early in the first half. Until he figures out how to avoid stupid fouls, we're always going to be two fouls away from a tight game.

Overall, I think we came off the emotional high of a blowout against the Tribe, first game with the students back and still pulled out the win. The intensity seemed to be missing with this Thursday/Saturday format.

When we are settling for jumpers, i'd like to see Talley in the game more. He's good at getting up the court fast and speeding up the game. He's also the most likely to drive to the bucket of our guards.

Take the W and prepare for a battle at Charleston. Somebody is coming away with their first loss in conference play. I have a feeling the crowd will be big and loud, which in a way is to our advantage. We play better when the intensity is high and the game is frenetic.

Ha, but they looked great hanging 100 and then laid a complete egg. That was my point.
