After all the close games with the Tribe, Seahawks take this one going away. Cacok is going to dominate the boards and our offense is going to force the Tribe to abandon their zone. Flemmings is going to get his game back together.

I don't see the Tribe getting blow out like that in a conference game. They see UNCW quite often and know them. I'd expect a closer game either way. Hopefully the Hawks don't get hurt and keep on winning.

I agree Bill. bill & the virgin plays us tough. Of course - everyone is and will come gunning for us. It's the burden of being picked on top (and for the time being on top). Nobody is going to be taken by surprise by the Hawks. We best be ready EVERY night for EVERYBODY.

Flemmings has had trouble getting to the basket and getting off his shot against big interior defenders, the Tribe don't have any. If they play zone, we can eat them up with the 3 ball, which plays to our quickness on long rebounds. Or, we can drive into the zone and let Cacok work the boards. I just think we're bad matchup for William and Mary, and in a high scoring game a 13 pt. win isn't a blow out.

I would agree UNCW is a bad matchup for us, but we are not undersized. Nathan Knight and Jack Whitman are fine inside. Knight is going to be really good(but is only a freshman). Whitman has vastly improved. We are, however, still not good enough defensively yet. We really miss Tarpey and all of his havoc. Plus, everyone shoots 60%+ from 3 against us. Our last 3 first halves(all CAA games), we gave up 50, 50 and 44. If we can survive the UNCW press(not sure we will), and hit some open shots though, we still can score in bunches. We have been blown out by all the really good teams(Duke, Louisville, Northeastern) we have played so far. Other than a horrific first half at Northeastern, we have played much better the last 5 games. My best guess is that it will once again be wildly entertaining and we will be in the game longer than anyone you have played in the league so far. Dixon and Ingram could be really fun to watch.

Northeastern blew us out in the first half, so it is possible. But, we had a classic the last 2 years at Trask, so hoping for another one.

It may be a fantasy, but I want to see Trask packed, Cacock dunking, Flemmings Eurostepping, Bryce popping jumpers in the paint, Ingram draining threes, and the press suffocating the Tribe. They gave us a beat down along with a 20-0 run at their place last year.

,teams study the film on him and know his tendecies with the ball. I thought Clemson kind of wrote the book on him with a stronger defender who got inside him,not letting him put it on the floor- if he could even get the ball. He could use a little help with a ball pick or even running off a double low post pick would help free him up a little bit. Bottom line-he will figure it out at some point.

Given our results, 12 seems about right. We have been blown out in the first half of all but one of our losses.

But somehow, I expect we will play well. But defense is the key for us.
