It's the Metro Detroit Attitude folks, I've been witnessing it for 38 years. If it isn't UM or ND, they know nothing and could care less.

We go 13-0, win the MACC, host ESPN Gameday and play competitively in the Cotton Bowl and this Detroit News 'sports journalist' thinks we should replace our recently departed Head Coach with:

1. Brady Hoke
2. Dan Enos
3. Darrell Hazell
4. Some scUM assistant coach of paperclips
5. The guy who was just fired from Oregon

Unbelievable.

And the NEWS actually pays him to write this crap.

To be fair. The article you are referencing was not done by a reporter from the Detroit News... There are two print newspapers in this town and one has covered the Bronocs in more depth than any Kalamazoo paper in recent memory.

I think that if I'm betting money... it's Simon as HC...and we hold both coordinators... not sure that's a step forward or a hold in place to get stuff together.

I think they could have announced that days ago and maybe kept a few recruits.

We can get some recruits back – signing day isn't till February and nothing is set in stone yet

If Simon is a ball of energy and a good recruiter I say keep him as head coach and our OC and DC if possible. That way we milk another Mac championship out of the talent we have and then figure things out If they don't recruit well

To show how bad that article was, when talking about Enos and how he would be a good fit in Michigan as he played and coached at MSU and CMU, they forgot to mention that he spent time as a QB coach at WMU. That is poor fact checking or lack of information.

Such a lazy hire. No reason to hire within.

NYB, not only that but he was a loser at CMU. Yeah, that is what we want, a coach who wasn't successful and bailed before they could fire him.
