I don't think non-scholarship players travel with the team.

I could be wrong but I thought I remember Steston Moore being with the team during every road game last year.

I know he didn't make the South Dakota trip earlier in the season. It probably just comes down to $. Keeping the walk-on at home for most away games probably saves a lot of money over the course of the season.

RE: Dillon Reppart
Or maybe since he probably wouldn't play with the team and class is still out for another week, he opted to go on vacation with his family out of town or something (likely with permission of the coaches)?

He is still on the roster, if he was gone they would have pulled him by now.

Jurkin is the one not traveling, actually. Reppart is wearing a body suit on stilts, in a perfect likeness of Jurkin, to ensure he gets any of Peter's minutes on the road! 03-shhhh

RE: Dillon Reppart
yeah, I agree he's still on the team, and I'm glad about that - I like Reppart. But non-scholarship players DO often travel. Hence why I asked.

Officially no one on here knows.

Maybe JustBuc can tell us the young man's GPA or other personal info.

RE: Dillon Reppart
Morgan Martin wasn't around on the women's team for a few games at the end of the semester. She's back now and doing some pretty great things. Nothing official ever came out about it, so I assumed it was personal or family related.

I think with Dillon, it's probably nothing major, just a personal thing and he (and the coaches) felt it was likely unnecessary for him to travel with the team this time.

And I like him too. I could see him improving enough that he could be a nice secret weapon of sorts if we ran into foul trouble or something. He's got decent talent and the rest of the team really seems to like him a lot.

RE: Dillon Reppart
Speaking of Morgan Martin, she played a great game at Samford Sunday. She was focused and really played hard. A consistent inside presence could start to make a difference for our women's squad. Hopefully she can keep it up. All our bigs play hard but consistent scoring has just not been there.
