WBB-Parity of pitiful
Just four games into the conference slate and already nine of the 14 teams have two losses. Three squads are winless in league play and only Charlotte and MT are undefeated.
The conference sucks so bad this year.

It's not as bad as the men! :) We're the 16th overall conference in WBB.

I have to agree that we're all pitiful . I'm glad you added MTSU to the list of pitiful, especially since they could only beat woeful UNT by 8 on their homecourt when we were without the services of Criner

Not much logic in your selective data analysis. The SEC has 11 of 14 teams that have lost half their conference games. Hmmm.....that conference must suck. Heck, the ACC has only one undefeated team and 5 winless teams in conference play. They must suck too.
Oh wait, when two conference teams play each other, someone's gonna lose. Interesting how that works. It depends upon who's played who and after just 4 games, it's way too early to make any assumptions.

I worked the WKU-ODU game, the snowed out game...
WKU runs a beautiful NBA styled 4 man out, 1 man on the block offense with plenty of shooters...if the defense reacts well to the strong side, WKU would reverse the ball to a 2 man pick and roll set with the post player away from the ball...a very sophisticated attack plan, and well executed
ODU runs everything through PG-SG-PF-popcorn seller-announcer Jennie Simms, she had 43 Thursday, and 13 pts 2 assists (should have been 5 more assists with better shooters) Saturday...WKU fronted her with a guard and had backside forward help, Simms had 7 TOs. Teams have to choose letting Jennie score 30+ and shut down ODU's lone other scorer, Destinee Young, or play 3 defenders against the other 4 Lady Monarchs.
WKU, MTSU, Charlotte and ODU should make the conference semis and all should make post-season tourneys.

Yeah. The win/loss in conference wasn't my best logical argument. That's what happens when posting when angry after sitting through the crapfest that was the MT-UNT game. MT scored all of 4 points in the second quarter. I felt like scooping my eyes out with a spoon.
How about these logical numbers then.
--Only two teams have RPIs better than 120.
--Seven teams have RPIs worse than 200.
--Only half the teams have overall winning records despite playing an average SOS ranking of 158.

I was interested so I looked how the men compare. Two top 100 RPI teams. NINE teams below 200 RPI. Six teams in conference have winning records. Only one (MT) has a SOS above 100. As iffy as the women's play has been, the men's has been worse. Hiccups like scoring 4 in a quarter are going to happen, even to really good teams. Notre Dame - the #2 team in the nation - scored 6 points in their third quarter against NC State. Granted, they ended up losing and we didn't, but crappy play happens... can we learn from it and improve is the real question.

We pretty much used one person and held Simms to her average. ODU would add 5 or so more wins if she were not as selfish. You have other good players and great size
