Ako Adams with some great hustle tonight... he broke the Rice scoreless streak and fed Egor for the shot that took the lead. Egor scored 5 to build the Rice lead to six, then UAB sucked all of the Rice defenders down to the baseline (9 players on the baseline), then kicked the ball out for a three-pointer. Teams exchange free throws, 60-57 Rice lead.

Great game so far. But we gotta finally win one of these.

As I post this, UAB scores on a put-back, gets a steal, and cashes in with an old fashioned 3. Ouch.
