I'm no Duke fan. But this whole thing is seriously out of whack. And my team was one of the victims of Greyson's tripping.

Tripping is a little b!tch move. It's not fighting. It's not swinging your elbow with intent to take off someone's head. It's not academic fraud. It's not driving while drunk. It's not felonious theft. It's not rape. It's not beating the sh!t out of your girlfriend. It's not selling drugs.

I just can't understand the outrage over this.

It's like parents sometimes do with kids. They provide a restraint that keeps the kid from doing what he/she is not supposed to do.

I understand that -- I live in Kentucky -- and ever since Laettner hit that shot against them, they have lost ALL reason when it comes to Duke. As if that shot, was an affront to all things holy. Those people are freakin BEYOND delusional.

If Allen is the biggest problem facing college basketball or in the top 5, things have improved a helluva lot since I was a regular viewer.

3.5 incidents, he probably needs therapy whether it is counseling or just running until he wishes his stomach would just puke out with the rest of the stuff.

Bet there is an email or memo out there where counsel for Duke has pointed out if anyone gets hurt in a similar incident that the university has significant exposure.

Did not equate the incidents. Equated the worshipful media coverage of naked emperors.

And Duke is about as naked as emperors get: hell, when the place was built Buck Duke had his workers spray acid on the stone facades of the buildings to make them look old and distinguished. They remain every bit the poser now.

He seems like the kind of jerk that in High school after PE would trip others and wrestle them in the showers. Needs to grow up or become the next "Johnny Football" .

And if someone breaks or sprains their wrist from the unexpected fall then what? Tripping is a dirty play. If it was once sure, everyone get over it but 3 f'in times in the same year thats grounds for outrage. Serial dirty play deserves all the outrage that comes your way plus an actual suspension.

Personally I want him suspended until he goes through therapy. He's got some personal demons based on the temper tantrums I saw. He's in for a rude awakening after graduation in the real world. Or he is from such a world that he can act that way the rest of his life and I am just not privileged enough to understand.

He is a danger to not just himself but if he trips someone and it shatters their wrist and ruins a career in sure the lawyers will eat that up.
