So much for the size argument being a real issue. Schor's size/weight looks comparable to many others on that list.

More on QB's and height... http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...fl-combine

RE: Is Bryan Schor a NFL prospect?
I'm at a work event right now in Dallas and Jon Gruden is here as well (he's a pitch man for one of our brands). I'm probably going to get a little face time with him this afternoon and I plan on planting the seed for Bryan's inclusion in next year's QB Camp series. Mostly I'm going to ask if he's heard of Schor (I'm sure he hasn't), and maybe mention that he's the QB that beat the BIZON since you know Gruden loves that team. I'll report back on what he says.

Please ask Chucky if the Skins put a clamp on GM Scot McLaughlin because he's back to being a schlitz-faced drunk...again. Maybe his brother has given him the insight. Wait. Maybe you shouldn't ask him that. Nevermind. :>)

Me: Yeah.
Gruden: Great player
Me: he'll be on QB camp next year?

Well, it's really neat to be a name dropper. Looking forward to seeing how that seed germinates, and your report back.

The fact that Gruden knew his number blew me away. He's clearly watched a JMU game or two.

ChicagoDuke - OT here, but I'm currently in Chicago for 3 days to attend our youngest graduating at Navy Boot Camp and haven't been here in 15 years. Any "must do's" while I'm here?

Wow I'm honestly surprised Gruden was aware that we won the FCS championship this year.

I'm not too surprised at that actually. Chuckie eats, sleeps, breathes, and craps football 365/24/7. If pressed, he probably can reel off some info that might surprise us all about high school football, prospects, NCAA D2/D3, and more.

My surprise is that he actually knew Schor's jersey number. That kind of supports though the notion of how dialed in he is regarding his subject matter.

Side note, he owns a home in Knoxville and I believe his wife is from that area. My son is a Big Orange alum and the folks in K'ville have rumored him to be their HC multiple times ever since they foolishly fired Phil Fulmer and replaced him with Lane Kiffin (who stayed 1 season). Chuckie was supposed to be HC when they eventually settled on Derek Dooley (who was about their 10th choice, if that high) and then again when they hired current HC, Butch Jones, who may be on the chopping block if they die another slow death to their season like this past fall. I don't see Chuckie going into HC'ing though. He enjoys what he is doing with ESPN far too much.

Yeah but change it to make it look like he is clueless about Bryan and JMU. Gotta keep the kids hungry!

"Gruden is watching" should provide plenty of motivation. Would be awesome to see him make the cut for QB camp. Way to go ChicagoDuke!
