How was it chosen who was on this poll? Because I definitely do not think these two options had way more votes than other posters who accepted their nomination

GTS doesn't like it when people "campaign" to be a mod. *rolls eyes*

I used to like this board. But with what happened to Bearcats#1 yesterday (being banned on THIS BOARD by a G4 mod), I'm starting to think it's run just like the [adult swim] Message Boards were run before they were shut down. What a bunch of crap.

Basically, yeah. I mean I understand why. He doesn't want someone hungry for power. But if someone who honestly feels they can actually help this board (like myself, for instance), wants to step up, why not let them?

I was nominated for mod.....once. Not sure who it was, but it was a year-and-a-half or so ago, and it was to replace uconnbaseball. He was, at the time, rarely (if ever) here. Not too many people were cool with it, and I've got to say, they're probably right. I'd have very little tolerance for the G4 trash, including a poster who gets off on having his name mentioned. I'd also probably abuse my mod privileges, which is seriously frowned upon. So I'm glad I wasn't nominated this time around.

I really like this board and I think that I would do a good job of being a mod.
