No way we win this game pre-Forbes. Not a knock against Murry, but as Bruce Hornsby said, "that's just the way it is."

You people are worse than a woman who wins the freaking lottery yet continues to b**ch about her ex-husband. Either get some counseling or stfu about the past.

What the hell is this about? He didn't have anything to complain about so he just randomly posted something?

Dinner table information or not do we really need this guy?

Also this from a guy who has a past of a season and a half, no wonder he doesn't want to hear about the history of the program,
He doesn't know anything about it.

Just Buc we all recognize Murray Bartow as a great guy but later in his term as HC at ETSU he had the tendency to not win close games. We all wish him the best at USF and hope the freshness of the job helps him find success.

It's time to ban justferpabuc. This is all very reminiscent of whats-his-face. It's taking away from the purpose of this board.

I don't necessarily think a banning is necessary yet. But definitely a warning to cool it.

Uh...just to set the record straight....I'm not one who considers him "a great guy". He by accounts is a decent "family man", and likely doesn't go around kicking cats, but he's more than capable of profane tirades at his players, and has disrespected them at times in other ways. No need to go all chapter-and-verse here, but I just think, to be really honest, the guy is flawed. (And yes, so are all of us; I'm just sayin'.)

That said, I don't wish ill upon him, nor upon USF. I kinda like their campus and that area. And I do hope he finds 'peace'; I don't think he had that here.

RE: Official Game Thread: @ Mercer (W 67-58)
Part of being a fan is living in the moment. Top 10 midmajor team today! H to the yes!

But another part of being a fan, is looking at a program long term...the historical perspective. Beating Mercer was nice. Sure. But as a fan, it was SWEET to see Forbes adjust. Part of our story is that historically we have not been able to make 2nd half adjustments. So the context matters. It was a win for Forbes. But it was also great getting to see Forbes in contrast to our 14 years with MB.

So to complain that we are whining about our ex-husband may be unfounded and short-sighted. Context matters and it is OK to talk about it.

Murry used to come home drunk and put cigarettes out on my arm if I complained about his womanizing.
