I seem to remember a recruiting board at USM with this on it for signees: Danny Nobles, 6 ft., 10 inches, 135 pound lineman, bad hands, skow and weak, and much room for improvement. Instead of a sleeper, it had listed in a coma. With 3 years on the weights could be 140 pounds. Honorable mention all singing duck conference...

Also the insider info on Danny was low football IQ too.

well....I'm the one who invented the FAKE USM recruit bio the year before and "catfished" everyone 03-lmfao....and THAT part of the story seems to escape some folks...but I guess turn-a-bout was fair play!

I'd say putting someone's name on what is supposed to be an anonymous site is "outing"....although obviously not done to do any harm, and I normally couldn't care less, but there are other folks on here who would like to burn me in effigy, ALIVE!!!04-cheers

No bigeee Beagle, my friend!

Back to 'cruitin'-------> USM looking at more 3 star H.S. QB's....Looks like the coaches saw what we saw: Keon is a raw, raw talent that needs more skills development than anyone thought. A dual threat QB may be the fashionable thing right now, but such a QB would revolutionize USM's offense----whoever gets the job.

As you say, back to 'crutin. As much as I have love Mullins and his passin'. I really look forward to the days of a dual threat QB at USM. We may have to be patient while the next QB develops, but we probably have the next good, if not great one now. Just may need some experience as Mullins did. Now, let's see if my heart can take it next year as whoever it is gets the experience. SMTTT

RE: How bout a Fun Thread 'bout 'Cruitin'....
How many true dual threat qb's are available to usm? Not many, or not many good one's. The P5 schools gobble them up fast. So, we get projects and/or one dimensional qb's. Now of days you MUST be able to throw the pigskin to survive. A talented running qb is great, but if he can't throw it a lick, it's very easy to defend. So, we must take chances on kids becoming better at what they lack........Just the facts m'am.....

He'll probably be the fastest player at his position in the Big 10.

247 recruiting site list 70 players on scholarship including 2016 SR's. Anyone with insight into reason we're 15 short? Also two signed in December, not included in the 70, and 16 hard commits. Will this cover those graduating?
