RE: Kennesaw State should be in the Sun Belt Conference
If the Sun Belt had to add schools from the FCS (which isn't happening anytime soon), UTC, EKU, JSU, and JMU would be on my list. KSU, FGCU, and UWF don't cut it in the slightest for me.

Nothing against KSU but why would the Sunbelt take another team from either Alabama or Georgia? Wouldn't the idea be expanding the footprint. EKU and Mo St seem like the logical adds.

I like Missouri State addition but not EKU. The ACC has four teams in North Carolina so I believe three from Georgia will be okay.

National Champions in baseball, a strong men's soccer program, decent basketball. It makes sense.

Decent basketball? How many NCAA Tournament wins do they have? Heck, how many appearances?

Now I've seen it all. A pissing match between two programs trying to determine whose slightly more relevant.

Don't take too much offense GSU, you're on your way.

None taken.

FJ is nuts. If he wants KSU in his conference cool. We will be long gone.

Kennesaw State WR makes most amazing catch of the week against Liberty

A Sandy Creek High School graduate, Sumpter finished the Owls’ 42-28 win over Liberty with two receptions for nine yards and one touchdown.

Great. Kennesaw beat a team that has 3 wins over the dregs of football and has 3 FCS losses in a row, including a home loss to St Francis. And that's, by far, the biggest win they have so far.

BTW, I just looked up KSU's record this year. They are 5-1. Congrats. Their five wins....

1) Tennessee Tech...currently 0-7
2) Alabama State...currently 1-5 with a loss to a Div II program
3) North Greenville...plays in NCAA Division II..currently 3-4
4) Texas Southern...currently 0-6
5) Liberty...currently 3-3. Three wins versus 0-5 Baylor, 2-5 Morehead State (wins vs non-scholarship FCS and a NAIA team), and 0-6 Indiana State (by 1 point).

The teams KSU has beaten have a record of

Versus FCS 3-19
Versus FBS 1-2 (win over one of the worst teams in the entire FBS)
Versus NAIA 1-0
Versus NCAA Division II 3-3

Its amazing. Take KSU's wins...and apply the transitive property to those teams and the teams those teams beat and see where you get. Its a big circle of nothing. No matter how far out you go. You end up with a win or two over non-scholarship Ivy teams. Its probably the softest schedule of any scholarship FCS in the country.

Congrats on being 5-1. But if you look inside that 5-1, you see a lot of nothing. You play exactly 1 team the remainder of the year with a winning record currently. Maybe you guys can slide into the playoffs and beat someone this year, because your schedule is hot garbage, even for FCS.
