It is the national championship game, not a bowl game. The outcome won't count into bowl records.

Maryland for Louisville = best trade EVER. I never went out of my way to make sure I watched Clemson play Maryland in any sport, but I clear the schedule for Clemson - Louisville. It's always a white knuckled, nail biting, barn burner.

Competing against the likes of Clemson & FSU in football & in the best basketball conference ever assembled will only make Louisville better. We're not just here for the honor of competing against you guys, which it is, we're here to beat you & hang championship banners. The ACC is the greatest thing to happen to UL.

I'm only talking about two of them: UVa/UL and VT/BC need to be flipped for football.
