I'd be interested to see posters rank these guys. I've only seen the East guys. Lomax is the real deal. If I knew I could only get one player from East, I'd pick Lomax everyday and again on Sunday.

It may be that as players right now the guys from East are better but Jeffries has the highest ceiling. They all are solid players but to get to where we want to be, we have to identify the program changers who are the difference between a sweet 16 and a final 4 run.

So if that list is accurate, there must be a pretty good fall-off after #4 Douglas if #5 is committed to UTC. And with 1-3 class of 2018, that means no one in class of 2017 is Memphis good, right?

Take this for what it is worth but Cal stated that DJ Jeffries was the best player in Memphis that is not a Grizzly.

Lot of talent in the Mid-South (north MS, east AR, west TN).

Lol, one of Cal's favorite recruiting lines.

Has OB switch from recruiting football to hoops?

the desoto school district killed ob football

no wins last year, from being state champs in 2011 - undefeated

now going from 6a to 5a because of the tiny district lines

Pretty sure 2016 and 2017 were nowhere near as strong as some previous classes and some future classes.

But ratings are just that. Maybe a good gauge, who knows.

Cam Payne and Ian Clark certainly didn't have a low number next to their names on any list.

Cal likes those 6'7" wings that can shoot the ball and guard the 2.
