Whoever doesn't believe it hasn't seen ECU when it's hosted and beaten big-time teams or been in Minges when you can't think its so loud. North Carolina is a basketball state, full of basketball fans, and produces a lot of great talent. It would only take the right coach to change ECU's basketball fortunes. If ODU, UNCW, and Charlotte can produce a quality product that is the bare minimum ECU should expect, nay demand. ECU needs someone on the way up, with fire, that can recruit and energize the program. Who cares if he's only there a short while. Just light the fire.

It can be done, if you don't think so, or don't care to make the effort then please get out of the way.

Of course....you can look in the rpi top 100 and find plenty of teams in a lesser conference and less resources than ecu. Lebo after this season does need to go. Stinks he has 4 years remaining though. Paying 2 coaches for 4 years isn't easy.

IIRC, this was year 3 of a 5 year deal at around 900k per year.

So unless we can nail him for NCAA issues, we owe him about 2.3 million.

Actually incorrect, his buy out is not his full salary. I will say it will cost USF at most 1.2 million to let him go and at this point he needs to go.
