Really liked the Canady, Overton, Mojica lineup last night. Having Major get real minutes will ease the pressure on Lee and give us a better option as a backup PG. Wonder what the team stats were last night with those three on together. We just seemed a little more composed. Kurk and Kari will develop under the leadership of those three guys.

Separate note: Matt Brady sighting last night at the game. Didn't realize he's a assistant at LaSalle this year.

I was not able to catch this one. Saw we had a halftime lead and then went to OT and lost it. It appeared to be a close game throughout. After the clunker against JMU, it was a good showing against one of the top teams in the conference, which is a good sign. I see Thursday's game getting out of hand quickly.

Dan10,

Do you know how soon DU's video on demand replays the game? I've been checking since last night and this morning.

I too missed the game except for the OT.

You guys played hard and made shots.

I think it's there now on CAA.TV.

Now back to the game...
I don't see this as a moral victory by almost beating a really good team. I see this as a very disappointing loss, because they clearly should have won that game. This is the second time this year at home (SJU the other) when they had a lead in the final minute and couldn't hold on. But it comes down to lots of little things including easy missed shots inside and dumb turnovers throughout that end up costing them the game.

On other note that kind of bothered me during the 2nd half. Northeastern committed their last foul of the game with 8:44 left in the 2nd half. The final 10 fouls of the game were committed by Drexel. Not sure if that's just really good play by NU or questionable officiating, but really?

On the way out, my 10 year old daughter was telling her friend that the refs must have been related to somebody on Northeastern or were paid off. Wow...kids have incredible imaginations. I just can't figure out how they could have come up with an idea like that that's so preposterous.

Agreed. We should have won that game, like SJU. Its games like those two, that led me to prematurely expect 9+ CAA wins.

Despite the refs, and the unlikely 3 by Bolden to tie it, we still had that game. A weak floater by Lee as the shot clock expired with 3 secs on the game clock was a poor selection. Gotta find a better shot for Rodney there. A bucket or a foul would give us the lead (Rodney couldn't have missed 2 more FTs after missing his first 5.)
