A reader of my blog pointed out that Urban Meyer has only lost 6 games while coaching at Ohio State... he's 40-3 in Big Ten play, and 1-3 vs. the ACC.

Even in his championship season, Meyer went 9-0 through the B1G, then beat Alabama and Oregon... but his one loss was priceless:

The Fiesta Bowl was the first time in Urban Meyer's head coaching career that he was shut out.

Ohio State falls to 0-5 against South Carolina teams. They are 0-3 against Clemson and 0-2 against the coots.

With the Fiesta Bowl win Dabo Swinney improves to 9-4 against Top 10 teams.

Clemson joins FSU with two seasons of 13 or more wins. No other ACC program has had a 13 win season.

The best QB in the ACC, Deshaun Watson, is now 31-3 as the starting QB in his career. If he wins the national championship game he will tie Rodney Williams and Tajh Boyd at the top of the career wins chart at Clemson.

I always liked Rodney Williams.

Keep in mind, too, that the only ooc loss in the 'shoe for at least a decade and a half was at the hands of VA Tech, another ACC team.
