The entire stadium was done extremely well. It was evident we were there for the Cotton Bowl, and not a "bowl game hosted by the Dallas Cowboys." Some things I noticed: there were hardly (if any) Cowboy logos anywhere near the field of play or seating areas, the field didn't have the pro hash marks visible (it looked like a brand new turf for the Cotton Bowl), and the jumbo screen overhead didn't show advertising during the game or during TV breaks, instead interacting with the fans and creating a great fan experience.

Totally agree with this. I was thinking it would be a Cowboys game feel. It was extremely well done!

Yep, everything was 100% first class. We were all pretty much in awe waking though the doors yesterday.

It's basketball and it didn't take place in Michigan, but the BB&T Classic two game "showcase" in DC is now basically an event hosted by Georgetown and it really, really sucks.

Walking in and seeing Brown and gold all over Jerry World was impressive.

We were in section 142, which struck me as isolated and poorly designed. On our "level" there were no bathrooms, or concessions. If you wanted either, you had to leave the area and go up two flights of stairs. Beautiful stadium, everything was thought through, except for our section's design, and we had a great time, proud of our Broncos, but when you're a middle aged dude with painful knees, two flights of stairs to go potty or grab a snack are no fun.

The 100 section levels have various locker rooms, tunnels and service rooms behind them. That is why you walk up a level. We were in 120's area and had no issues walking up a level for a hot dog or a Coke. The stadium was awesome

"Issues" can be a bit challenging when you've had three knee surgeries, including a full replacement. I'm glad it worked for you, besides the knee challenges, the location was great.

Sorry to hear that. Even Waldo can be a long walk for a Coke sometimes

The seats were great. But getting to the restrooms was an adventure.

That is true, Waldo can be challenging as well. But then again, Jerry World is a brand-new state-of-the-art stadium, Waldo was built, I think, in about 1939 so my expectations of Waldo are lower from an architectural and design perspective than they are from a state-of-the-art stadium.

Even so, it was a great experience, and a very proud day for the Broncos and we were thrilled to be there.

We were in section 142 as well. I loved the seats too but I was bummed about having to go up a level to get to the bathrooms. Luckily my son and I got what we needed prior to sitting down for the game. The entire experience was top notch -- from battle of the bands to the ending concert in the plaza -- where I finally caught up with Motown Bronco. The tailgate in lot #4 was a lot of fun too!

You weren't sitting in row 10 or 11 were you?

Row 11. I was thinking that may have been you next to my son but I wasn't for sure. It's been a long time since we last met.

No advertising? There was constant advertising for Goodyear, AT&T and Allstate. In fact the panorama video board at the end zone near our band had an at&t "Your world delivered" logo after almost every play.

I think we're a bit over-romanticizing the game day production of a game that had a month to prepare for us, versus a venue that had a week to execute plans at Ford Field.

Cotton Bowl was great and it had to be. That's what's expected of a game of that caliber.

Yes, that was me. It was great seeing you again. I hope I didn't bother you too much. If I did my apologies.

Too funny -- small world. I was 50/50 if was you are not. And no, you weren't bothering us at all...I accept high fives from all Bronco fans!
