Yep, as ignorant as some people around here are about things, having zero knowledge about basketball is the biggest one. People couldn't wait for LE to get out of here. I wasn't even the guys biggest fan, but I know how good of a job he did here. He gave us at least 19 wins in like 5 of his last 6 years here and an NCAA tourney. All while playing in the yurt, with a low budget, and little to zero basketball talent within 200 miles. Which is why, like I've been saying, some of the stuff being said about Doc is unfair. Nobody on here has ever said the guy is some great coach. I think he's very average. But he's not the train wreck some try to say he is. He's in charge of a train wreck program. I'd say 75% of it is due to factors out of his control. Has he done a great job by any stretch ? I don't think so. But blaming all this on him is just stubbornness and failing to see the facts.

BY GUM you should be drawn and quartered for posting something like that. dont you know that we should be in the final 4 yearly. If we arent its the fault of the President, AD and everyone else down to the guy who weedeats the rose garden.

My god, some of you are delusional.

The thing is, no one (including myself) is saying that he's the right guy for the program. I've said many times that he's not. All I try to do is point out that there are a lot of other things wrong with our program that are bigger than the head coach.

..I'm tellin you people now...you give Doc just 3 more years and he's gonna have us in that NCAA tourney and weez gunna win One....just be patient with him for 3 more years.
