Michigan beat the Pac-12 South champs Colorado.

Maybe playing ACC teams would be more informative. The ACC seems to be better than both.

Urban doesn't want any more of the ACC. Half his losses at Ohio State are to ACC schools.

He sure gave up on the SEC when he coached at UF, also. 05-stirthepot

I know you're stirring the pot, but didn't urban meyer have a heart attack that curtailed his time in Gainesville? He would have likely left for OSU if given the opportunity anyways, but I think he only quit because of health reasons.

Recruiting in the SEC compared to recruiting at OSU in the Big10. Which is the more difficult and would cause the most stress. I will give that he is a good coach, but recruiting in the Big10 and the SEC are not the same.

He had heartburn, not a heart attack, and he got the heartburn when like at OSU his really good offensive coordinator Mullen left to go to Mississippi State and his Gators couldn't move the ball.

For the record, you were the one arguing for three years that being a conference champion gives a team no advantage. Why change that argument now, to fit this debate? Using your past debates, that piece of info is irrelevant in your mind.

Dude get the **** out of here with that absolute GARBAGE. TCU lost to Baylor, so they were not the Big 12 team that was even the highest ranked. Baylor was. Ohio St actually had some stones and played a good OOC schedule, PLUS had the Big Ten title game. Baylor didn't. THAT is why Ohio St made the playoff, not your black helicopter bulljive.

Being a conference champion isn't a requirement, but it is more of a tiebreaker. Baylor and TCU were pretty darn close- TCU better OOC schedule(but not by that much), Baylor with the head to head win. Both with 1 loss. Goes to the tiebreaker, and that gave it to Baylor.

I am just pointing out that we said that to you for three years, and you fought it tooth and nail, and repeatedly said it never said that anywhere, and that it was not a tie breaker of any kind. Don't make me go back and pull up your quotes. We tried to beat that in your head for three years. Unless you are telling me you finally see the light, you just reversed course purely to try to prove a point.

You mean like fans like the Minnesota/Bison fan and the guy who couldn't spell Nebraska right? Two guys who are considered idiots, one of which got banned? Or H1 who has been gone for a year now?

I strongly second this. Ohio 1317, Dexter, Sea Blue, and others who post here, and Frank the Tank don't go around chest thumping and crowing and didn't troll your boards, predict your demise, or rub in incomes.

What we have had here are some ACC folks that gang up on folks from time to time like a bunch of pusillanimous millennials who have never played the game, settled a matter hand to hand, and live to taunt and e-bully anyone who challenges their uninformed or misinformed world view. I understand your pent up frustrations with predictions of your demise for low these past many years, but it's over.

Hey, you guys have the best conference this year. You may have the national champion, it's going to be darn close. But football is a pass time. It hasn't cured cancer, won a world war, and it doesn't put food on your table at the end of the day.

A certain amount of razzing is in order with rivals and pass times, but it goes too far.

The ones who touted the Big 10, hyped its teams, set the narrative for playoffs, and rubbed our noses in it are the same folks who own 100% of the ACC's rights.

ESPN is more to blame here than Nebraskafaninwi (a Big 12 troll), H1, or Bison (an FCS guy).

If a crisis hits I doubt the SEC finds crystal footballs to be sustaining. But then again neither are cut nets, or gilded basketballs on a pedestal. When you live for what you can do when you are 18 to 24 what the hell are you going to do with the rest of your life? A few become iconic sports millionaires but the vast majority fade away.

The funny part of all of this is that in 10 years nobody cares who won in 2016. So take a deep breath, relax, smile, and worry about work and health. It's more productive.
