For the first 20 games, we were better off without Keith Lee. Then it caught up with us.

I was being serious. Best 2 wins have come without him.

Mine wasn't a joke, either. We went 20-0 the year after Lee left and went something like 9-6 the rest of the way.

I was referring to the Keith Lee comment. No college team in history would have been better without Lee.

Chad is back in 6ish weeks.

Azab may be January.

I've heard some good things about Azab. He could be huge during conference play. I hope he's as good as I have heard.

You and I are talking to different people. He gives us another body this year, but if he is going to be "yuge" for us it will be after he has a chance to develop. He's a project.

Plenty big. And less likely to get hurt on D - for someone injury prone.

I've heard both ways. Some say he can handle things inside. Others say he shouldn't be playing this year. I'd just like a chance to see for myself.

It's always a fun game, thinking about how our football guys might help. I like to look at the seniors. How about Montiel out there in the middle? I think he's done with football - college at least.

RE: Sam Craft
Craft was at least ranked a 3 star basketball player in HS.

I do remember Huggins bringing two football players onto the team one year and actually giving them minutes. He was Izzo before Izzo in terms of believing in a different kind of toughness during practice.
