Bret Beilema ...you're officially on the Hot Seat..
I usually don't take stock in Exhibition Games anymore but his last two games in 2016 have been utter meltdowns...that imo doesn't cut it in the SEC West....

Weird things happen in bowl games all the time, but going from leading 24-0 to losing 24-35 could put Bert on the hot seat. Remember that last year's Alamo Bowl meltdown was the beginning of the end for Helfrich at Oregon.
On the other side of that game, though, impressive for Fuente to win 10 games in his first season at VT.

He is a good coach. No other conference needs deregulation more than the SEC.

I played high school football down in Arkansas. My social media is blowing up; Hawg fans are going bananas and want him and the AD fired asap. The buyout is $15m.

Why are divorces expensive? Because they are worth it. Jeff Long the AD is an a$$hole.

First, congratulations to the Hokies for showing up for the 2nd half and winning.
That said it was the most annoying announcing I have ever heard in an ESPN telecast. It actually had me thinking about cancelling my subscriptions. They never shut up, and argued the wrong positions on calls all night. And when the Arkansas receiver fumbled after the long pass play early in the third quarter they pronounced that the ball went through the end zone while their camera's clearly showed it trickling out of bounds before it reached the pylon. But the camera didn't stop their dialogue, nor did they go back and show what was the 3rd or 4th blown call of the night by perhaps the most inept group of officials I've ever witnessed in a bowl game. They blew calls against Virginia Tech and Arkansas. The muffed punt was horrendous. But the failure to consult video on the fumble through the end zone ruling was just as bad if not worse. The agitation over a poorly officiated game was only exacerbated by the pair of yammering a holes in the booth.
In the end the dramatic comeback (which merits it's own place in bowl history) was overshadowed by criminally poor officiating and announcing that deserves TV's version of the death penalty.
The effect of the game seemed like the Hokies were possessed of a suicidal demon in the first half and that it inhabited the bodies of the Arkansas players in the second half. A totally bizarre game, that was entertaining on the field but one you had to turn the sound off of to enjoy.

Glen Mason against Texas Tech.
Got one of the conference's best coaches fired over a single game. Never coached again.

That describes most of the games I watch. I mute the sound more often than not.

That's what you get when Mike Patrick and Ed Cunningham call a game. Ed Cunningham makes Mack Brown sound like a good color analyst.

Big 10 football does not cut it in the SEC at all. Bret's seat have been hot since he opened his big fat mouth about Texas football which pissed off high school coaches and fired up Texas Tech to beat Arkansas that year. Bret was never a good fit at Arkansas to begin with. Losing to toledo and almost lost to La. Tech this year would kill him at the end.
