W&M Sports Blog: CAA Basketball Update
The Tribe has had its ups and downs so far this season, but when it's all said and done, OOC records mean nothing. Whichever CAA team makes the NCAA tourney will have to do so by winning the CAA Tournament. But with that being said, we have our work cut out for us. The CAA looks strong again this season, with UNCW leading the pack.

We believe! LET'S GO TRIBE!!!

CAA play is about to open up. I put my pride and reputation on the line over on our boards and picked you all to win vs NU.

Don't let me down.

We also need to get SNO8 off to a bad start.

Haha, sorry man. Just don't think you win this one in Matthews Arena, though I do think you'll end up in the top half of the CAA Standings when everything is said and done.

Billy, as soon as I talk him into attending a game up here with me he'll see the light.

**Except when y'all play UNCW. That's when I root for the Seahawks to rip the faith and ever burning hope of a NCAA berth from you all like a small, hardly established flame extinguished by a cold, rainy night.**

Promise him a Deli sandwich before the game. Free food always works for me.

Looking forward to the CAA season. UNCW's success was not a surprise, but both Hofstra and Northeastern are better than I expected. Will be curious to see how the Tribe does in the next 2 games. Overall, we have been awful on the road, but the last 3 halves have been much better. Still would love to see the CAA be at least a 2 bid league.

RE: W&M Sports Blog: CAA Basketball Update
Right now, to get two bids, we need NU, Towson, UNCW or Charleston to go through the conference with one loss or undefeated, then fall in the finals. That's about our only shot. If NU could do this, and beat UNCW twice, they'd have the best resume'

We'll let you guys have your fun during the regular season then we'll rip the CAA Championship out of your dead cold hands in the final game. I think that may have happened recently in some other sport.
