James Franklin to the Buffalo Bills?
That would certainly shake up what has been a relatively quiet coaching carousel thus far

RE: James Franklin to the Buffalo Bills?
Connection is that the Buffalo Bills' owner is a Penn State alum and major donor. He donated the money to build PSU's hockey arena and start D-I hockey there.

RE: James Franklin to the Buffalo Bills?
Most likely scenario for the Bills is that Anthony Lynn will get bumped up to Head Coach...the interim title taken off after Sunday.

Would be the second head coach at PSU to move up to the League. A nice feather in their cap.

Bills need a GM more than a new coach

RE: James Franklin to the Buffalo Bills?
After this season and its freakish result of the guy winning the Big Ten, I think it can't get much better, spare a repeat Big Ten championship season with the committee not being dinks on putting them into the cfp.

At the very least, I think the guy will let the rumor mill run its course and get him a handsome raise, but, who knows? Pros were tossed around when he was excelling at Vandy...why not now, too?

Interesting if he does go with Rhule just taking the Baylor gig.

If they wanted him bad enough, I'm sure they'd buy out his Baylor contract. And guessing he would much rather go to PSU than Baylor.

He would, for sure, but I don't see the current AD and administration risking the flack for "overspending."

Penn State and Baylor deserve each other.

What was Franklin's salary and what did Rhule sign for? I'm thinking like a 4-to-1 difference? They could buy out the $1M and then pay him double, while still saving money.
