Big time coaches are not really into having no support from the university for decisions made as a coach. Coach Gary Pinkel publicly backed his players last year during the racial tensions at Missouri. The university back him up. No bowl game for the Gophs next year. Back to 4-8.

Those weren't football decisions.

And the Missouri admins were on their way out and were incompetent clowns anyway. Pinkel was about to retire anyway.

Except that PU is out in the cornfields and doesn't have a shiny stadium to play in...which D1 scholly athletes notice.
