I just posted something along the same lines; however, BYU, Boise State and maybe Air Force are the only teams from that list who can pull 35,000 in attendance.

New Mexico can if they're consistently good, and there's value in having a state flagship university plus they have good, well-supported hoops.

There are 20-30 teams between the mac, Sunbelt, and CUSA that should drop down to FCS. They are already basically FCS in FBS clothing anyway. Time to tear the bandaid off and just 'be who you are'

IMO, the AAC should just add Army(FB) and BYU(all sports) and try to access an anchor bowl (and possibly BSU and SDSU, if we can get enough money from the networks). There are only a few teams outside the P5 that are considered P5 level and they need to unite together and grab an anchor bowl.

The rest of the G5 are FCS level teams...

Don't forget to drop tulane.
