Uconn just fired a guy who can't coach an offense, why would they do that again.....

I think the speculation is that UCONN is targeting a coaching candidate from a NY6 or Rose Bowl team, a top coordinator if you will. I don't think they will be fooling around with this hire. too much at stake.

Expectations are low (i.e. 8-4 would seem fantastic), triple his salary, if you win at UCONN you hit the Powerball for your last job (i.e. Rhule).

Downside is that NE is a rough place to recruit. Next hire has to have good mid-Atlantic ties and Florida would be a big bonus (probably necessary). Schiano, Golden, Moorhead... ?

But we can get good coaches and our recruiting classes blow your classes out the water

Just curious ,where do you think he is going to go next year. I don't think any place will open up that is interested in him. He should have taken Cinci if it was offered. He could do a lot worse than UCONN. There are some good football players in the North East. I think Sanders is ready, Cornelson is a gamble but I like that offense a lot.

I heard Rex Ryan is taking his money and resurrecting the "Just For Feet" franchise.

Schiano would seem like the best fit. Offer him $2.5M and give him plenty of money for a staff and then give him 5 years to right the ship.

If not him, I would take a gamble on Moorhead.
