I thought that he was a good Defensive Coordinator. Perhaps I'm crazy, but I think that's a good move for Bob and the Bearcats. The only issue that I have with any of this is the timing, but that's between Bob and the UConn administration.

We have another coach lined up, there would not be donors without knowing the alternative.

If I am the AD at Rutgers, I hire Schiano. I am in my 50s and he is the only coach in my lifetime to win at Rutgers. Not only did he win, he won consistently after a few years of rebuilding. Rutgers is where coaching careers go to die. To be fair, NJ puts out a ton more talent than the entire New England region. But he knows how to recruit FL and that will cover a multitude of sins.

This man would take your program to new levels. Hire him immediately.....

On the 102 man BC roster, 22 are from New England (with six of that number being walk-ons)

How about Greg Schiano or Al Golden? or Don Brown at Michigan? All have proven they can recruit in the Northeast.

Let me start by saying, yes, I know that Pirate football and basketball are both dumpsterfires, and our AD doesn't seem to have a clue...

BUT, why in the world did UConn wait so long to give Diaco the ax? He should have been fired after getting blown out by ECU.

If this Randy Edsall to UConn stuff is true, this was the single worst coaching firing/search in the history of football. Not exaggerating
