The Heart of Dallas Bowl is our last one of the season.
Here is the layout for the game. North Texas will again be on the visitors side, while Army will have the home side. This year they are not selling tickets in the upper deck, or in one of the end zones. With that said, it appears Army is bringing a large crowd. After looking at the available tickets, Army appears to have filled most of their seats!
By my estimation, Army has filled all of the home side except for about 1,500 seats. That's really good. UNVL didn't even bring 3K when we played them.
You might be thinking Army is going to really have a home field advantage right in the heart of North Texas, but not so fast...
North Texas has filled all of their seats on the visitors side, except 7. That's right. Here on Christmas Day, two days before the HOD, there are only 7 seats available on the Mean Green's side of the field.
General admission is located in the end zone and I have no idea how many of those tickets are still available. But it looks like North Texas will again outnumber our opponent in this bowl (though not by much), and we still have a good chance of setting a new attendance record for the HOD.
I want to give Army lots of credit for bringing their fans. Hope all C-USA fans get to watch this one. It should be fun to see on TV.
