Two very winnable games against P5 schools...
At Illinois (Sept 9)
At Vanderbilt (Nov 4)

Home OOC games include EKU and Ball St.

We open the season at home against Vandy. Maybe if we have a defense by the time next season rolls around, we'll be able to tack on an SEC win to CUSA's total...

For 2017, LA Tech hosts SEC member Mississippi State and the Sunbelt's South Alabama OOC, and also travels to South Carolina. IMO, all are winnable.

We play Stanford in Australia. We'll lose.

Don't know if significant anymore but we open hosting Houston. Then we're at Baylor.

@nc state, and at cincy. Although we are going to lose 8 or 9 games again seeing as how it is apparently acceptable at Marshall to have an OC whose playbook can fit on ome side of a mcdonalds napkin

UTEP at Oklahoma to open the season.

Arizona at UTEP sept 16th.

Nice to see a lot of CUSA teams hosting P5 schools. We need to win as many as we can!

You should be able to pack out the stadium for that game! 30,000 no problem. Vanderbilt travelled well to WKU, we had record attendance last year.

Were you at the Vandy game? It was a pathetic showing by Vandy fans, especially considering the proximity. I had low expectations because of their reputation as a horrible traveling fan base and they still left me unimpressed.

I agree, they did not even bring their band. They might have had 500 fans throughout the entire stadium. I know we were favored by 9 points so maybe they thought we were going to blow them out. If not for 2 turnovers inside their 10 yard line, a turnover on their 40 yard line, and a missed 25 yard field goal, it would have been. It was by far the most frustrating game for me over the past 2 seasons.

Vandy fans don't travel, this is widely known. We played them in hoops at Bridgestone in downtown Nashville a few years ago. 8,000 MT fans maybe they had 500-600 at a max. They had a few last year when we played them at home in FB but not many. Hurricane kept the attendance down. Who knows what next year will look like.

That was the only home game I missed because we were out of town. I made an incorrect assumption that because I can rarely find 16,000 dedicated WKU fans on any given gameday that Vanderbilt brought a lot of fans to fill the seats for that record-attendance day. I guess WKU just has a lot of SEC fans in the area. That kind of pisses me off. You can make it out to a Vanderbilt game but you can't go to any other games that year. Screw this community.

Either way, if MTSU has fans like WKU has "fans", then maybe you'll still see a record attendance or a near full stadium.
