I will be available for counseling.
Army isn't "power" program. They are an independent that regularly struggles. As a service academy they enjoy a large following, but that certainly doesn't make them a power within the FBS. In fact, this is only the 2nd time Army has posted a winning record in this century. Having said that, I will enjoy watching my Mean Green beat Army for the second time this season.
Yes! I coaxed you out of the hole!
How's tricks, Joe?
Aside from the actual game, I hope you have a great time in Dallas (Side Note: Don't hang around Fair Park. It's dangerous.) Be careful traveling, especially in Dallas.
Do you know where your seats are yet?
Been meaning to ask you, what spots in Dallas do you recommend?
On the Army side to the right of the Cadets near the 20 yard line. Row 37 in honor of Doak Walker, phrase starter of "The House That Doak Built."
Traffic in Dallas is terrible. If you are looking for entertainment and food, Deep Ellum is a good place to start. I'm in section 25, between the 35 and 40, in row 21. North Texas is on the visitors side again. I guess they think we are bring more fans again.
I'll be driving down for the game and heading back home right after they present us with the trophy. I can't stand being around DFW too long. Too many people.
Also, you should drop the P6 rubbish. That joke doesn't play well over here.

Sorry HOOD but the 'truthful claim' is the AAC is a laughingstock right about now.

What are the P5 and G5?
I thought it was pretty obvious.
P5 TV Contracts 25 Million or more. 50-100 million in CFP money. Guaranteed CFP Bowl for Conference Champ.
G5 TV Contracts 2.25 Million or less. May get an Access slot. Less than 1.6 million in CFP money.
Now in Basketball, I would agree the Big East is the Sixth Power Conference.

I admire the Academies, but didn't Army drop out of CUSA because it couldn't compete?

That's exactly what happened. 49-0 scores were extremely common against Army during their time in CUSA.

Traffic. Ugh.
Thanks.
I expect more UNT fans than Army supporters.
I am a rural guy myself. Cities are nice but they have too many people.
It is a fun gag. I will probably drop it after this week. Stress relief and most posters know it is a joke.

Oh... I remember that signature fondly. We'll just have to take pride in knowing that the option coaching tree started at GaSouthern is slowly spreading to other schools...we now can trace it into Army AND Navy along with GT, and Kennesaw State. But really, I along with most others liked Monken at GaSouthern, as he represented the traditions and offense that brought GaSouthern the recognition that it has. But every 10 years or so some ******* new hotshot AD tries to reinvent the wheel resulting in displeasure, angst, and losing seasons. Next year it's possible we will go back to traditional flex TO, but it seems more likely that we will run it out of the shotgun (like we did in 2014 and 2015).
