I think most of the people who cared about our game were at the game.

RE: TV Viewership for Bowl Games
TV viewership has almost as much to do with the day/time of the game, as it does with the participants and the bowl. I am pleased we had 2.3 million for our game, given it was a Friday afternoon, when many people were still at work.

And, gonna go out on a limb and predict that the Bama-Wash and OSU-Clemson TV viewerships will dwarf all the bowls so far.

And the Arizona Bowl on Campus Insiders will be the least viewed....or does that even count with it being an internet site?

I think it will definitely beat the Miami Bowl that had only 794k viewers. Between the ASN broadcast and the CI broadcast, it could surpass that. The thing is we won't know since ASN games aren't part of a Nielsen rating. Maybe on this site it'll show what the CW stations rated...which is what most of the Sinclair stations seems to operate.

While an important statistic... bowl games during the middle of the day on week days are bound to get low numbers...

RE: TV Viewership for Bowl Games
If they missed the Armed Services Bowl, they missed the best game thus far. Plus, the good guys won. Well, they were both good guys, but Tech won. A few years ago when we played Navy at Annapolis, a buddy and I were at the house watching the game, standing as if at the stadium, and my wife walked through the den. She saw that we were leading by 18 and said Tech had that game. The kiss of death.
