They meant Northern Iowa but they had Northern Illinois with our logo even.

Yea we'd struggle at first but then grow because are recruiting would be better since we'd be away from the awful MAC. You are part of the problem why the school is held back. Start thinking big instead of small time MAC crap.

If we could fine them $100k for every time we've been mistaken for Northern Iowa and vice versa, we would have started construction on the master plan already, lol.

That's hilarious, I was actually just thinking of how to insert a directional name/change discussion without getting yelled at

I know everyone has feelings for the name, but imagine how the marketing might have gone the last 10 years with all of our football success if we had a memorable brand name for the media to get behind, instead of a directional.

I'm done now, lets get back to wondering where the Master Plan money is coming from...
