MyBB The AAC Ranks 7th in Basketball
I reviewed the Massey Composite Index and was surprised to learn that the AAC is the 7th highest ranked conference as of 12/18/16 (the latest at this writing). We are ahead of the A-10 and Mountain West. I anticipated a much lower ranking based on our disappointing results to date. I guess we are bad, but even our bad is pretty good. 03-wink

It's gonna be a rebuilding year, kind of like it was for football. We're going to lay waste to the surface dwellers in 2017-2018 though.

Like football, a dominate team has yet to emerge. All teams have flaws; especially with depth (e.g., SMU, UCF, Memphis).

Cincy seems like the team to beat.

Memphis is sneakily getting better, much to my surprise. If we can upset south Carolina then we can talk. I'm still thinking we'll get three teams in the big dance, maybe four

Were not that bad.

I think we have a decent shot at winning this Diamond Head Classic.

SDSU is way down. I think we will be favored in that matchup if they beat USM tonight.

Tulsa is getting much better...and will be dangerous in conference

I just heard Marshall has hit 13 trey's @ Cincy... in the first half.
They're ahead but I think Cincy will win in the end.

UH had the same problem against Liberty in the first half last night. The way guys shoot the three nowadays upsets are always possible. Hopefully Cincy remembers who they are in the 2nd half and rights the ship.

Think that will still be the case if #24 Cincy goes on to lose to Marshall?

If Cincy doesn't gut this out we're probably looking at a two bid league.
