I agree the defense has been bad, but the DC at least deserves a few years to get recruits in that fit his scheme. Last night stunk but isn't going to get anyone fired

We were also playing against an interim coach and team with nothing to loose and over two weeks to prepare for us

oh, thanks. I didn't realize they had that much time to prepare for us.

Norvell is a stud. Hope he stays here, but won't surprise me if he gets a lot of calls after next season ... but he needs to upgrade that defensive staff.

Just needs to bring in some players. Both lines were depleted after last year.

Agreed. We have the talent but we were just outmatched from the sideline last night.

Someone who has influence on our player's mental acuity. Someone who has the ability to instruct our secondary to watch game film (actually pay attention) and make mental notes about tendencies, etc.

We were mauled at the line of scrimmage which dictated everything. If you did not see that you should uninstall.

Here we go... its "Pastner needs a good Xs and Os guy" all over again. WKU's offense was better than any we've seen this season. Our D stunk it up but were also over-matched as expected. We lost when we started kicking field goals while they were scoring touchdowns. Give the DC a chance, he'll either get them better and succeed, or he won't and we'll find someone else. But you can't fire a guy after year 1.

It's just a business decision.
