When I first read it I was surprised. But came to the conclusion it is trolling. It appears they've run off any of their balanced posters.

I would believe the P6 thing was just a message board hoax but Memphis actually had it on their helmets last night. I get what their conference is trying to do and don't hold it against them. Branding is branding and the way of the world.

What they're really coming across as is one of those 1200 dollar hoopties you see with 2k worth of rims on them. Fake ballers.

My conclusion is that it is mostly message board fodder. However, what mostly starts off as fodder can quickly turn into a movement. Unfortunately, you can see the latter picking-up momentum.

Some of the AAC "might" move on to a power conference (P5) but the AAC will not be a power conference (P6) anytime soon if ever.

I'd be inclined to believe you if the AAC didn't have the P6 stickers on their helmets. Either the administration is delusional, or they are just expert trolls out to get the world.

It's not a matter of them trying to be seen as a P5 conference. It's a perception issue. By labeling themselves as P6, they try to differentiate themselves from others in the G5. And let's not pretend it's not working. Right now, the media acts as though there is a P5, G4, and a Middle 1. They are that Middle 1. And that's what they're okay being seen as.

It's not working, Never heard that either, just P5 and G5. They're delusional if they believe that. I would put the MWC against the AAC in football any day of the week. Boise State has been the only G5 program worthy of P5 title the last 15 years

There's no middle there is one seat for the G5 for the NY6. It's just P5 and G5

I think you're not watching television then. The public perception is that the AAC is a tier above the rest of the G5. Money shows that. Fan support shows that. Talking heads show that.
