For ODU, it's all about location. The Tide Water area is a big draw for programs. Sadly, when you drive 30 minutes south you are in BF Eastern North Carolina.

I hear you, but we aren't going to win the P6 narrative by losing to G5 teams in bowls at the end of the year (no matter how many top 5 teams we beat during the regular season). The only way to achieve this is by beating P5 teams in marquee slots during the regular season and only playing and beating P5 teams in bowls.

Much like you guys say that you're the "g-4" super bowl and gain nothing from the game. That same logic goes for the P-5 schools, they gain nothing for beating you and if they lose it a horrible loss.

If it is anyone who knows about horrible loses it is the wannabe P-6 domers.

RE: Only Play G4 Schools at Home
Just curious, why do the other G5 conferences need the AAC? They can schedule HOME and HOME with each other. Seems like four conference would be able to ignore one conference. In addition, the P5 could easily refuse to play any AAC at home. It is funny how the AAC fans think the other 9 conferences need the AAC to survive. 03-lmfao

Has anyone ever noticed that not one team in all of the P5 leagues puts a P5 sticker on the back of their helmets? Not one single team.

And then you have a G5 conference like the AAC. 03-lmfao

It really grinds you that we are P6 and you are G4. LOL

I don't know what's more pathetic, you living in the AAC forum to argue your point about the AAC or the fact that you root for a second rate program in a backwoods state....

Well Duhh......it would make no sense to argue the point on the SBC forums. Over there we don't claim membership to some mythical classification. 07-coffee3
