Congrats Cards!

Been too busy drowning in my sorrow of losing to Georgetown, Uconn and getting blown out by St Johns, all in the same month.

Glad we won but I too would rather have had the football win.

In general football but coach P really needed a win over the devil.

Would you have rather had a win in football or basketball?

I see no reason why Louisville should have to choose only one sport in which to beat Kentucky...

Since the football game was rebooted in 1994, I believe the numbers are:
-19 seasons the schools have split regular season football and basketball wins
-Louisville has twice swept football/basketball in the same academic year
-Kentucky has twice swept football/basketball in the same academic year

I'd love winning both but it doesn't happen often.

Agreed...however the collegiate sports gods see it differently.

Since the football game was resumed 23 years ago, the school that has won the football games has lost the basketball game that season - 19 times out of 23. That's almost 83% of the time.
