Stroke....but more likely a broken heart which led to the stroke. Debbie and Carrie had notorious fights many decades ago and seemed to have patched things up over the years

How about seeing it the other way... maybe people know Debbie Reynolds is a movie star, but they might not know she is Carrie Fisher's mom. And the devastation for a family to lose a mother and daughter in consecutive days makes the point important enough to note.

You see, if she wouldn't have been Debbie Reynolds, I wouldn't have started a new thread. It would have just been a note on the Carrie Fisher tribute thread.
