There's no assertion in that regard from me now or ever. Skin color is not a valid concern to me in regard to one's abilities. I judge folks on their efforts. I do find your mis-link interesting however!

I do think he has an agenda...they all do. I believe his is more of the tulips, happiness, and rainbows (no pun intended, really) variety. I see him as more status quo. My preference would be a prez that has a well rounded vision for the entire program and every department. More work on branding now and in the future.

Well, that will be an improvement for the basketball program.

hate to break it to you guys but this isn't some highly sought after position. Everyone knows we are broke and have had money struggles for decades and it's gotten considerably worse.....probably the worst it's ever been. We could hire Louisville's AD and probably nothing would change.

No way it's worse money-wise then when they just fired Ellis.

No, it will be highly sought after. There are fewer than 400 D-1 AD jobs. There are a lot more than 400 people in college athletic administration who want to be D-1 ADs. In 1999 we got well over 100 applications and interviewed about a dozen candidates.

ok, let me rephrase.....it won't be highly sought after by anyone relevant. Good grief.
I'm sure if our basketball coaching job became available you'd receive a bunch resumes and inquiries......but not from anyone that we'd give a **** about because our program is a joke.

While i would not want her as the ad. Sonya has changed a great deal in the last few years. I think she has learned from her past mistakes. Just an attempt to be fair.

...we gotta lotta problems here now....arguably 3 of our Top 4 donors are either...1. going to prison..2. in a mess with some crazy (murder for hire scheme) and 3. said earlier "F this, I'm out!"...so good luck with hiring someone who can shmooze some scagoles to get new helmet stickers and jersey's much less renovating that 3rd world nation indoor playground of a basketball arena anytime soon....it's a mess.

The fact that she's been both a plaintiff and a defendant in sexual harassment lawsuits while she's been employed here might be the only thing keeping her from the job.

Sonja offered the plaintiff the extra bed in her hotel room and the dude sued her instead of ******* her. What a putz.

You could hatef*ck her and think about Donna Brazile or Melissa Harris-Perry or whoever. Or that basketball player who quit the team over a video game.
