1. It was WF superbowl. because playing in a P5 conference just isn't exciting or challenging enough.
2. Tough conference schedule and injuries. again playing in a P5 conference (or any football conference) can't result in injury. Also, wasn't it WF starting QB that had to be taken out after that awkward tackle when he fell on his head. Seemed like WF started playing very conservatively after that and was just trying to hold on to the lead.
3. Just couldn't 'get it up' for a P5 team. I mean I know the AAC fanboys are saying how the rest of the G5 are winning because we are playing their (AAC) 6-6 middle of the pack teams. So why couldn't one of their top teams beat a middle of the pack (perennial cellar dweller)?

AAC = overrated this year. The AAC is and will always be part of the G5. Unless their is a complete collapse of college athletic conferences.

Good job on your bowl games. You guys really showed how dominant your conference is. 03-lmfao
Using their logic I suppose South Carolina couldn't get up for a AAC team.

They add a nice wrinkle to this place, that is for sure.

I realize this thread is AAC related, but I have a feeling the possible ECU announcement might not be the biggest scheduling news in our near future.

Out schedule is full until 2021 and we already have Marshall then. If it happens then it happens. At least it's closer than all of our conference games and in state so I can get in for free.

From what I've heard, it's a 4 game series, 2 in Greeneville, 1 in Boone, and 1 in Charlotte, which would count as our home game. I've heard the contract was signed prior to the Camillia Bowl.
