RE: Frisco datasheet for visitors
Our airbnb cancelled on us so we booked the Courtyard Marriot at Legacy Park. There's a ton of bars in the area that I'm sure will be packed with Dukes

We are staying down around the Galleria, about 20 minutes south but still on the north side of Dallas, prices are much more affordable and getting to the airport on Sunday morning a little quicker.

Thanks. That might be a good way to go. We'll probably only be around the stadium for the game and the after party.

anyone else staying in the Hyatt House?

we were in the Aloft Frisco, but got moved because they massively overbooked evidently.

So they put us across the street in a suite with full kitchen and living room. Nice upgrade! ha!

There's 7 or 8 in my group staying at Hyatt House. It's a quarter mile walk to Aloft. Look to be just up the street a bit.

It really depends on how much drinking you want to do. Is walk ability a must for you or do you not care about driving 30-40 minutes to a more distant town?
The cost savings was too significant to pass up, so we booked an airport hotel knowing we'd drive 30-40 minutes and pay about $5 each way in tolls. The hotels out there were less than half the cost of Frisco and Plano hotels.
Meanwhile I'm still keeping an eye out for a last minute hotel deal closer if its not too much more.

It really depends on what is inconvenient to you.

Right now we're reserved at NYLO Legacy with free cancellation. We would like to be able to walk to places without breaking the bank. But if it's a big cost savings we know that the main time we're in Frisco will be Saturday and Saturday night so we're fine staying near Love Field if we need to.

This was on Twitter and I haven't seen it posted here. If you are getting to Frisco on Thursday, here is info on Thursday night Happy Hour.

Does anyone know what the rules are on overnight parking at Toyota Stadium? On the off chance no member of our group is sober enough to drive.

Just trying to safely cover all my bases here

Yup. Been saying that for a week now, but nobody believes it. Thanks for confirming.

Is there a magic time when stores in Frisco don't sell liquor anymore? Or any special alcohol rules like no booze served on Sundays? Trying to not get surprised on the trip...

RE: Frisco datasheet for visitors
Bump. My group is kinda spreadout between downtown and Frisco, but I will be staying at the Embassy Suites in Stonebriar. Looks like a short uber ride to the legacy shops area where the JMU events are, but also walking distance to Tight Ends and Wild Pitch.

Anyone have any intel on other spots that are in the legacy area? I know the official events are at Scruffys and Ringos, but has anyone else heard anything about the other spots in that area? I did a quick google search and noticed Henry's Tavern, Village Burger Bar, and a few other places that looked good as well.

Also, anyone else staying in the same hotel?
