Am I doing it right?

yup...this is correct. When the season started you had hopes of NY6 and when you ended up playing a crap G4 team from the MAAC instead it was a major letdown. Plus you know this was the biggest day in the lives of those little Ark St players. A superbowl of sorts for them.

Nice work SublimeKnight.

Arkansas State is in the Sunbelt, not the MAC. You lose credibility when you make a glaring mistake like that. Learn of what you speak of.
G4 is G4

yeah yeah..........it is so cute how the fans of AAC teams act like they're in a new division called P6 and all of the opposing peer conferences are G4. Does it take drugs to get so delusional or is it just something in the toilet water y'all drink from? Meanwhile.......your conference is 0-2 in bowls so far this year. I suggest you buy some pain relieving cream to ease your pain because you sure are...........

This is a P6 board son. You need to go find a board that you and the rest of the degs post on.07-coffee3

There's a difference?

Pretty sure your team saw the difference last night. By the way, Milton just got sacked again......

Yawn, best bowl win ever for Arkansas State, the Sun Belt champs, playing 6-6 AAC #7 in a throwaway year where we were implementing an entirely new system. We'll send you a post card from the Peach Bowl next year.

hahaha.....your opinion is so pathetic. ASU beating the #25 ranked Kent St in the Godaddy bowl game in 2013 would be looked at as a much better bowl win than that over your overrated team last night.

The only way your team goes to the Peach Bowl next year is to buy tickets as fans.

Congrats on the win, no one can take that away. Someday you'll be able to tell your grandkids how ArkSt beat all odds and conquered a P6 program. They may make a Remember the Titans -esque movie about it.

Psst...P5 teams laugh at you for your deluded ideas of pretending to be close to being one of them. Guess the fact that the AAC wasn't invited or considered to be worthy of P5 status has really upset you boys. At the end of the day the NCAA still calls the AAC a G5 conference so deal with it. In the words of Spock.....live long and SUCK it!

Don't try to move the goal post here bud. First you want to claim ASU beating UCF is their biggest bowl win in their history and then when your ignorant opinion gets shown for what it is you want to downplay the opponent. Pretty lame there but that is what one should expect from the AAC fan base.

No, I personally would rank beating a P6 team over a MAC team whose top 25 ranking was obviously underserved.

I know you probably do not have a television, but if you did you would be a lot more informed about this issue. All of the national talking heads, Brent, Herbie, Reese, etc, have been pushing the narrative on our ABC/ESPN broadcasts that we are a part of the Power 6. Maybe the radio guys you have to tune into to find your games have not caught up yet. Just google it and you will be enlightened.

The Sun Belt had a team with 2 conference wins beat San Diego State and Miss State. Tom Herman's interview games don't mean anything. How many P5 teams that made a bowl game did the other AAC teams beat?

The AAC has now lost 6 straight Bowl games to the "G4". Both of your championship game participants lost to Army.

Tom Herman, Matt Rhule, and Justin Fuente are gone. Last year was a fantastic, but the regression to the mean is underway.

Herman, Rhule, and Fuente are gone, but Strong, Fickell, and Norvell have arrived. The AAC continues to reload with higher quality coaches across the board than the G4. teh belt's highest paid coach would be the 2nd to lowest paid coach in the AAC. 10 of the AAC's schools were vetted for Big 12 expansion compared to 0 of teh belt's. That isn't all just a coincidence.

Completely disregarding wins over OU and Louisville is silly. Those are the types of games/wins that actually matter, draw ratings, get people talking, and have spawned the P6 debate. How many G4 conference champs have beat our 6th and 7th best teams in meaningless bowl games is irrelevant. You can have your win over 6-7 UCF, and the AAC will continue to win games and BCS/NY6 bowls over OU, Louisville, Florida State, Baylor, Penn State, Ole' Miss, Notre Dame, Miami, Va. Tech, etc.

Only one problem. There is no such thing as a P6 team no matter how much you lame brained AAC fans want to think otherwise. The AAC is G5...........deal with it.

RE: Houston and UCF
the AAC has been a mystery this season, it looked like Houston was going to blow by everyone then fell back down to planet earth, then Navy loses a few key players and are nowhere close to being the same team. The top three teams form a outsiders view would be Temple , Memphis and USF, but there's not much difference in the top 5 . The unknown is how will Willie Taggert leaving going to effect USF and the same can be said for my Toppers against Memphis

Tom Herman, Matt Rhule, and Justin Fuente are gone. Last year was a fantastic, but the regression to the mean is underway.

In 2015, under Coach Fuente, the Tigers went 9-4 and 5-3 in the AAC. In 2016, Mike Norvell coached the Tigers to 8-4 and 5-3 in the AAC. If that is regression to the mean, then most Tiger and AAC fans will take that all day long. Fuente's best recruiting classes were @ 80 nationally. Coach Norvell beat that within 6 weeks of taking the job. This is by no means meant to disparage Coach Fuente as he started from ground zero. Heck, it was worse than that. He had to demolish the existing structure and start from scratch. Tiger fans are excited as many new faces (true Fr and red shirt Fr) played significant minutes. If this is the mean, then it's a good time to buy stock in blue tinted glasses.
