MyBB Coach T proved me wrong.
After last week's lost to Monmouth (a very solid team), I thought coach T might have lost his edge. I'm glad that he proved me wrong and I stand corrected after watching this great comeback victory on the road with only 6 1/2 rotations. He did a great coaching job and managed the TOs well as well.

This team going to be very good from this point on in my opinion.

I hope so...But the biggest difference in this game was on the offensive end and that was led by Martin...Our defense was still caught in a ton of rotations due to getting beat on the perimeter.

If Martin can continue at anywhere close to this clip you will be right.

another concern could be fatigue (due the lack of depth on our bench) or perhaps it might pay dividends in the tourney with improved conditioning and stamina.

I've also never seen a Tiger team shoot from the line that well at the end.

It would be good if that percentage can transfer over to the Forum.

After Wednesday game I didn't expect to win this one. Props to Jeremiah for improved play. I hope Tubby use the break the way Cal used to. The guys seems to be getting better as the season goes along.

I don't think anyone expected the Tigers to win this game, but it's the kind of win that could be a big turning point. This was not the kind of game the program had been winning for several years. They looked like an entirely different group out there today. As for Tubby, I've said all along that fans need to be patient with him and this team. Let him coach for a few weeks/months, evaluate his talent, and then judge.

Amazing how good D & good FT shooting can change a team - and we had a floor coach that knew how to manage the game, all required to win close games, especially on the road.

Really wish people would stop looking for reasons to doubt Tubby and prove he was the wrong guy and just get on board and appreciate that we have a real coach, with a limited roster that is busting their ass to win this town over. Just go be Tiger fans and support these guys and see what can happen. The program destroyer is gone come out and enjoy again!!!

Hitting free throws was what won the game.

If by gullible you mean we won big with a hired gun and didn't care then sure, we were gullible.

I don't see many at all questioning his X and Os and teaching ability. The 3 glaring in game "errors" he made this season, he quickly admitted post game. Most are fine with his abilities to coach basketball.

Limited roster...that statement is up for debate in more ways than one though.

Impossible, the refs were out to get the Tigers.

RE: Coach T proved me wrong.
And underneath all our 'made' free throws is their physical intelligence (some call it energy). I keep harping on this, but the cohesiveness of respecting a coach and team chemistry is back.

When interviewed, Dedric answered a question by saying that the Tiger team kept huddling together and saying,'Just stay focused.'

That's exactly what they did. There were no attempted heroics... which, btw, I do not think are a kid's 'fault' when they occur. Heroics happen when the team is Effed up from the top down or the inside out.
