Of course not... Here hope you guys get back on track... The AAC needs a good dominant ECU football. 04-cheers

We started out with decent crowds for all of our games but by halftime it was crickets. Pathetic and shouldn't be mentioned as a positive with the way this season turned out.

But we will be back, both on the field and in the stands.

Yeah, he tried to slip that in without mentioning the first place program.

Congrats ECU and Houston fans for drawing so well.

Lots of AAC programs around the top of the G5 programs.

It's actually amazing that ECU had so many fans in the stands as bad as we were this year. Just imagine what kind of crowds we could produce if we actually won as much as UH has the last couple years.

We did really well with season tickets last year and also got lucky that the Navy game was originally supposed to be earlier so a lot of tickets got bought up for that by people who never showed after it was clear the collapse was complete.

im proud of everyones numbers except for tulsa...you just had a 9 win season...18k?????

less than 20k on a good team?? and i just looked at tulsas schedule, most of their home games were on saturday at night, unlike most of everyone else

i dont expect tulsa to do great numbers but tulsa should be 20-21k on bad teams, 27-28k on good teams......
if tulsa ever became the top dog in this league that could honestly derail our league... like when baylor/tcu are the top dogs of the big 12 and texas is down =the big 12 is bad..but on a drastically worse case for us

how do you draw big bowls with that kind of number from a top team in your league

the tulsa metro is almost a million people, with no pro-sports besides wnba ...getting 25k average on a 9win team should be the minimum..when half the sunbelt, mac, c-usa have better attendance on your good years thats a issue ..we arent asking tulsa to be great, just not be this bad

There is A LOT of room for improvement on that list.

USF should be getting 40K with what they are bringing back...there is no excuse.

Temple needs to get their own stadium...stop putting up with the North Philly BS crowd.

Tulsa has got to find a way to avg 25K, I know the enrollment is small, but there is not that much do in Tulsa...give away free t-shirts every game or something.

Memphis has come a long way, as has Tulane actually...Cincy/Navy is about what I would expect, UConn needs to get a new coach that knows how to run offense. SMU seems to always just exist.

we ave ~38K two years ago....last year with the decline fully complete we dropped under 35K (still not bad for a pro sports town and a college team that went 4-8).

I think with the excitement of the new coach, if show any improvement at all, we will be back up.

Wasn't USF having articles written about them because their attendance was so bad? This attendance looks good to me.

I think we were mostly busting on them because they would report 37K but you see the game and it was clear there wasn't 25K there. But I don't think it matters. If the ticket is sold and the University takes in the revenue, whether the fan shows up or not is of secondary concern.

UC used to report butts in seats but we finally wised up and started reporting tickets sold, taking a page out of the Pitt and Miami FL attendance reporting manual.

People give USF a hard time because their stadium is a public entity that reports tickets scanned in addition to the school announcing tickets distributed (like all other ncaa schools do). So like the ECU Navy game this year I think had 40k+ reported but I was there and it was much less but we don't have hard numbers on it. Miami is probably the worst offender in the NCAA, a lot of ACC schools struggle with reported vs scanned actually.

Yep, get things going again and DFS will be full and rocking as usual. Non season ticket holders are not going to waste money going to watch a team get beat up all afternoon when they can catch it on TV and turn the channel or do something else with their time and money.

We'll be back. 04-cheers

The whole reason why these attendance threads are worthless. We have a few that don't even attempt to be honest.
