Haha. And I don't think they need to look at defensive film. Mark em down for 7+ td's.

They cite a CBS sports article and hardly mention it at all. NIU would be foolish not to accept.

Looks like NIU's chances increased. Players held off meeting with the AD & Prez, to instead meet with the regency, but no word on that... and according to the article, the President said that despite no criminal charges, the situation goes against the University's values and there's no way the players will be reinstated at this time.

So basically, Minn players will have to be Convinced that it actually isn't that bad of a decision (regency convincing them) -- or, they walk. I expect this weekend we'll know for sure.

NIU to the Holiday Bowl?
I'm sure the coaches have already set their game plan and wouldn't be surprised if most players were already back on campus in the event. Anyone can confirm or deny this?

Yeah, this is not reality.

What if our players refuse to board a Carey-present plane to San Diego?

NIU to the Holiday Bowl?
Northern Illinois Huskies 5-7 coach Rod Carey told XM College Football 'Full Ride' radio host Chris Childers:

"We'll be ready & we'll WIN that football game"

There's no way Rod said that haha. I see nothing where he's even been on that show recently.

Again the only good that will come out of this is 100% the money and that Santa starts against a good team. The teams we played showed he could be an ok QB in the MAC against horrible teams. Hope we get to see what he can do on against a good team.

Does Santa start? Maddie is healthy by now, i'm sure. The only reason you wouldn't play him is if it hurts his RS chances (and it might).

If Maddie's chances at a medical redshirt are less than 50%, I think he's gotta play. You let him and his parents make the final decision, but I think he has to play. If he's got a good shot at the medical redshirt, then yes start Santa and consider it good practice for the non conference schedule he's gonna face next fall

The only reason I bring it up is because there is specific language about "season ending injuries" when it comes to medical redshirt. This would be his second one.

It'll be an interesting dilemma.

Kenny will be 4.5 weeks removed from his elbow injury. Does he play?

RE: NIU to the Holiday Bowl?
Even if Maddie is back next year, his chances of staying healthy for the whole season are slim. Santa makes an excellent backup and continues to learn. Graham is a good emergency QB with a lot of experience. Redshirt the incoming freshman who's name slips my mind at the moment

Seeing Kenny's injury just on TV, the don't think there is any chance he is ready to play. I'd be happy to be wrong tho. We will need to score as many points as possible
